I need it...50 pounds to go..and fighting like hell...smile.

I am so happy for you to be off the night shift.

It is 110 here today,...I have not mustered up an appetite yet, but am armed with good stuff.

110 degrees - oh my goodness. Forgive me for feeling envious as I freeze my yoohoo in this 58 degree weather. I almost said "only 50 pounds" but that would certainly be a big lie. This is a fight whether it is 5, 50 or 250 pounds. We have you covered and will help every ounce of the way.  Keep your good stuff close at hand. You can and will do this.

Thanks sis, I am determined, and the warm weather helps take away my appetite. The meds make it stronger...so there will be a balance somewhere, I am sure. Being able to jump into the pool will help also..as I get hardly any exercise. One day at a time. Hugs!

Happy Tuesday to you, too, Linda! Hope you're feeling better.  My flavor today is always...... chocolate!  Not in my plan these days but if I could pick any flavor..... that would be it. B-yogurt w/berries S-protein drink L-protein bar and salad D-chicken and whole wheat tortilla w/grilled veggies Surgeon said I need more Vitamin D and my protein is low.  Go figure.  Low protein and I haven't even had surgery yet.  So, I'm upping my protein. Hi Linda, Thanks again to everyone for their support when I had my meltdown yesterday over my DIL.  You folks are great.  I am free!  My finals went alright and I'm grateful to be done.  Even if I got a B on the finals I will still have honors status (although I will be disappointed if it is not A's, lol).  The biggest accomplishment is that with the stress of these two things, I DIDN'T EAT IT AWAY!!! YAY. Prior to weight loss surgery I would have been half way through a big bag of peanut butter cups or milky ways.  Freedom! B - Pure Protein Bar S - 4 oz. unsweetened apple sauce L - Wendy's Grilled Chicken Go Wrap S - Cranberry Nut Trail Mix D - KFC chicken thigh - skin removed S - 6 oz. glass of 1 % milk Have a great day everyone. I'm baaack!  Busy weekend and Monday.  George and a friend went crawfishing Sat and came home with 2 sacks of crawfish - they each took one.  Yummy boiled crawfish Sunday for dinner.  while he was crawfishing I went to see "Made of Honor" and shopping bought 2 pair of bermuda shorts and matching blouses for trip to Disney World.  I'm so ready for a vacation!  Sunday, church and a quick stop at the grocery for crawfish boiling supplies.  Yesterday I called in sick.  I had two doctors' appts. and didn't feel like hearing "You go to the doctor too much." from da boss.  Podiatrist made my feet feel good, neurologist started me on a script for Requip for restless legs.  Achy legs have been keeping me awake at night.  He also ordered blood work.  Wed. I go to the PCP.  Wow, maybe I do go to the doctor too often, but I'm taking care of me.  This is MY time.  For too many years I let my health go down the My flavor of the day is what I'd choose nearly everyday ALMOND like wedding cake! B - protein shake S - protein shake L - broiled catfish and carrots S - cheese D - roast beef, zuchinni, salad - greens with home grown tomato, and crawfish (extra protein) S - protein shake Gee, nothing almond flavored.  Ah, I think I'll have a cup of coffee and put some sf almond flavored syrup in it. ************* GREETINGS FROM THE GREAT AND SOGGY NORTHWEST.******* It may sound crazy to some of you but I for one am grateful for the rain/cool down from the previous mini heat wave........ 3 days of over 70* and I can't handle it. LOL LOL ........ My sister came last night and is spending the day. She and Mom went to Costco then after lunch we are headed to Wally World..... B: cream of wheat made with soy milk.... S: yogurt w/ 1/2 apricot (home canned) L: tuna w/ 4 crackers S:protein shake D: ????. My flavor of the day ?? Hmmm Something savory maybe Italian seasonings. Warm and cozy.. Millie
